Family life doesn't look that hard. Does it?
When I found out my girlfriend was with my child, I had mixed feelings. I was happy knowing that I will become a father soon, but then again, I was filled with worries of plans for the future. It's not like it's just there and that's that. You'll have to prepare everything so you'll be able to cover anything that comes along the way. And that means ANY THING.
The house now seem too small. Where do we put the crib? Our room just have enough leg space to move around.
My work salary as it is already stretched out will become stretched even more. We'd have to somehow manage to survive in between pay cycles.
Being a family man still has its ups. I'm now excited to see when the ultrasound can be done. I can't imagine how it will be once my child comes into the world. And I want a boy. Of course it's going to be a boy. Why shouldn't it be? Hehehe.
Well, we just have to see.

So I Have To Wait...
One past time I really am into is watching TV series. US TV series, that is. Not those Pinoy drama series I'd be dead caught watching. And the more series I come to enjoy watching, the more space it takes up on my laptop's meager 73GB hard drive. Hurray for cheap DVD-Rs!
So, here's what I've been watching for a while:
- Heroes. Since Heroes started I've followed the series closely until Volume 3-ish. Then I got a bit tired of the plot, and until now, I haven't watched to its abrupt end. Maybe the producers can't find a suitable plot anymore.
- Prison Break. I really haven't been able to continuously watch this freakingly brilliant series. I've been always jumping from one episode to another. I don't remember seeing the finale yet too.
- True Blood. Now this I enjoy. You won't get short of nude and sex scenes on every episode in this series. Story is interesting too. Season 2 is still ongoing. More sex.
- Fringe. I kept updated on this show. Peter's gone back to our universe with the alternate Olive. Let's see what happens with that. Season 3 comes soon enough in late 2010.
- The Mentalist. One more show I love. Jane's hunt for Red John leads to more interesting situation. Jane's sarcasm makes my day. Season 3 coming September 2010.
- Human Target. Mr. Solve-Your-Problem. Problems that want to kill you. Nice.
- Burn Notice. Colorful characters. Action/Humor combination I like. Reason I get short on sleep. Keeps getting better with Season 4.
- Naruto Shippuuden. Still counts as a series. Anime. No need to describe. I read the manga actually so I just wait for the story to be animated.
There are still a number of shows I haven't taken a peek on yet. Just wait.
